What is Happy Olive Lab?

Happy Olive Lab is an interactive learning environment where you can follow the entire journey of olive oil, from the olive tree to the finished oil.

In the different sections of the learning path, you’ll learn step by step about olive growing, harvesting, olive oil production and quality, as well as the many choices and conditions that influence the final result.

Once you’ve completed the learning path, you’ll get to test and apply what you’ve learned in the final assessment.

In Happy Olive Lab, you don’t just learn about olive oil. You follow its journey as part of a Cretan village community, where caring for olive trees, harvesting and making olive oil are part of the annual rhythm of life. This way, the journey of olive oil doesn’t remain just theory – it becomes a story you get to experience for yourself.
